VIETNAM - Mai Nha

 

I met Marie almost 15 years ago when her Vietnam born adopted daughter became friends with my daughter.

 

With her husband Mark, she was able to make her dream come true by creating a human-sized orphanage (20 children) near Mui Ne in Southern Vietnam, at the heart of a very poor village.

Anxious to do something for the poor children of the village, they also also set up more than 30 scholarships (80 is the goal ...) for the poorest children to allow them to go to school instead of working in the fields with their parents.

 

Inaugurated in June 2012, I was fortunate to be present for this exciting event.
